After breakfast we headed to a local town to do a little shopping.

little white bulls (not!)
yellow ajonc
my favourite pony
wild primroses

On the way home we stopped off to visit some four legged friends we hadn't seen in a while.

I couldn't resist this pretty white hydrangea and the little pot it came in
and the SP bought little cakes for afternoon tea.

  1. Happy Easter from Canada. Today is bright and sunny and just a few degrees below zero. Your collages are lovely and give us a glimpse of how special it must be to live in a small French village. It's a world away from our farming town. You are lucky indeed! Have a wonderful day!

  4. Happy Easter to you, too.
It is cool here, too. No rain until this evening. We have had snow, hail, and a little sun this past week, here in the NW USA.
I've been busy this morning, baking desserts to take to my daughter's for dinner, later today.

  10. Hi Maggie, Sounds like you had wonderful Easter. What lovely scenery for your walk. I see the ajonc blooming, the only place it is prettier than a Quimper plate is growing wild on the side of the road!
    Easter Blessings Maggie.

  13. Well we aren't strangers as we have met!! Seeing your lovely mosaics reminds me of the lovely time we had in France last year. Not travelling so far this year going to Westward Ho! for our holiday this year.

Lets hope the weather brightens up soon, although we do need the rain. We were hoping to get more gardening done this weekend than we have. Oh well there is always next weekend!! Have a good week, Love to you both, Jackie & Phil.x
